The Rock Falls to Second Place as Mark Wahlberg earns best-paid actor title, What a die for!

This is actually a new news as it is all over media and news outlet that someone has finally wrestled away Dwayne Johnson's title as the highest earner in Hollywood, but certainly not a woman.

The information was shared on the Forbes website, stating that another actor has taken over the lead as biggest earner. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson lost his title as the world's highest-paid actor after being kicked out from the first place to the second place by Mark Wahlberg.

The former wrestler earned a coll $65m (£50.6m) over the past 12 months, with Wahlberg storming into the lead by pocketing $68m (£53m), according to Forbes.

Wahlberg's earnings have recently risen to the top spot following his starring roles with the likes of the movies Transformers, The Last Knight and the yet to be released comedy Daddy's Home 2. Following, Wahlberg was once an American rapper.

Following the list of the top five after Wahlberg and The Rock are Vin Diesel (£42.4m), Adam Sandler (£39.3m) and Jackie Chan (£38.1m) with
