
In less than two months after leaving on air, the popular TV game show, Who wants to be a Millionaire is said to begin this Sunday.
The show is said to have been revamped according to a statement by the show's producer, Ultima Studio Limited. This change is brought following a partnership with Airopay, a global international payments operator.
In accordance with this change, Femi Ayeni, the Managing Director of Ultima Studio Limited, made it known to the public that the show's anchor, Frank Edoho will be replaced.
The presenter may not be returning as a host this time around but he remains a part of the team. We will also encourage him to partake in the auditions which will see us have a befitting replacement if need be.
We will be getting a younger presenter but Frank remains a part of the WWTBM. We will air highlights from captivating past editions of the show for about 5 weeks until we get a new anchor for the show, Mr. Femi Ayeni said.Mr. Femi Ayeni made this known during a joint press conference in Lagos on Thursday, proclaiming Airopay as the new sponsor of the show.
Airopay and Ultima are convinced that the synergy between Airopay and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's game show will be mutually beneficial, said Mr. Femi at the occasion.The national TV stations is said to have been airing the TV game show uninterrupted for thirteen years before it went dark indefinitely after its major sponsor, MTN, pulled back since June.
With this new sponsorship, Airopay is proud to say that the Who Wants to Be A Millionaire TV game show is much bigger, richer and better, as Airopay has increased the winnings sums of contestants who make it to the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire game show's hot seat and participants who engage in the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Homeplay.In conformity to what Mr. Femi has said, the CEO of Airopay, Charles Oyakhilome said that his firm has indeed increased the winning sums for all contestants from N10m to N15m.

Some of the past winners include;
- Osazuwa Osahon Daniels - N5m (2009).
- Aroma Ufodike Chimuanya - N10m (2009).
- Babatunde Oni Oladipo - N5m (2010).
- Nnaemeka Ubaekwena - N5m (2012).
So far Aroma Ufodike Chimuanya is said to be the only one to have won the highest amount. Its actually a record he has created
