Photo: Kano police arrest woman who specialises in buying children at the rate of N20 thousand

A woman has been arrested by the state police command in Kano state for allegedly buying children at the rate of N20,000 in the state.

According to reports, the suspected, Itakpom Wadda from Edo state was arrested after she bought a child from a prostitute that recently gave birth to a baby in Sabon Gari area of the state.

She was immediately arrested after the police got a tip-off about the transaction she made. During her interrogation, she said she bought the baby for a couple in Port Harcourt, Rivers state who were in need of a child. The suspect, prostitute and one other person are now in police custody.
